we made it into england and have been going pretty much non-stop since we landed.
here's the band line-up:

paul newsome - guitar and vox
nev cottee - bass
stu richards - drums and vox
eric ryan - guitar
bingo - guitar and vox

the band is going under paul newsome's name for now, but is considering changing it to reflect the contributing energies of all the players.
most of the gigs this week have been like rehearsals for the isle of wight festival which is next weekend. we've played manchester, london and tonight we play leeds. i got a camera before i came over here, so here are some pictures...i'll try to explain them as we go..

paul picks me and eric up at the airport. notice that the steering wheel is on the right. it's gonna take some timwe to get used to this traffic configuration..

Photobucket
here's my first proper english fry-up. from what i understand, i'm not supposed to eat this every day for some reason.

there are some gaps here.. the first night in town we went to a few bars and i forgot to bring the camera along. probably a good thing. it was very fun. beware the belgians in the canal.

Photobucket
here's a squirrel that hangs out at paul's dad's place

Photobucket
sitting in an english garden waiting for the sun..

Photobucket
eric ryan and myself at nev's radio show with paul for an interview.

Photobucket
paul in the interview hot-seat. working under pressure...

Photobucket
nev cottee on the air in manchester. the deejays here can actually play whatever they want to. what an amazing concept.

Photobucket
the next day we went to a studio that was built by new order to rehearse. we were there for two days. here is the control room..check out the super-rare midas console that belonged to the pink floyd!

we have to go and get us a proper curry now, so I'll check back in in a little while..

cheers!

Well, I certainly hope you take in a football match or two while you're there. Otherwise, I think I might not be able to live with myself. Wait, is that true?
